i think it is very weird that i can post inappropriately lengthy blogs about well... nothing while i find it very difficult to write about the significant and even life-changing events in my life. take the year 2006 for example. that was an unprecedented year for me and yet, you cannot find one word about it in here. on the other hand, there's the year 2007 which was a thankfully uneventful year and what do you know, i have written not only a holiday recap but a yearender blog as well (ok, so it's a survey but whatever). the point is, it's weird.

but i think i know why. because words diminish thoughts (huwaw). they make things inside your head and heart concrete and tangible (huwaw ulit). those millions of ideas swimming through your brain which seem big and important seem to become small and trivial once you lay them down on paper (or cyberspace). which i think is why most people use their blogs to rant- because once they have read what they have written, it feels like the weight of the things that used to bug them are lifted. verbal catharsis, if you will (gumaganon ka, ekang). and it goes both ways. i feel that somehow, writing about a special and personal moment makes it less... intimate.

so i guess what i'm trying to say is, i have no effing idea on how to even begin to write about the year 2008. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! but i will try anyway.

a year of so many firsts, it is hands down the most momentous and life-altering year of my entire earthly existence. i met new people, gained new friends (and regained an old one :p), been to new places, done things i never thought i could do, and discovered nuggets about myself and life in general. of course there were heartbreaks, but those were minor, and even necessary for a worthwhile year.

i wish i could say more. but really, anything i say will only be a futile attempt to describe the best year of my life (so far). so i will leave it to this: if 2009 will turn out to be even half as great as 2008, i have truly found my little piece of heaven on earth. and i wish all of you can find yours too.

have a rocking new year everyone.

of course 2008 wouldn't have been as great as it had been if not for certain people. as i have said many, many times before, i have the MOST AMAZING FRIENDS in the history of the known world and the past year wouldn't have been the same without even just one of them. to each and every one of you, especially to those who were there during my time of crisis, i may be lost but i was never alone and i can never thank you enough. naks.

this is such a delayed post. but then again, i have been a very irregular blogger this past year.

i went to bulacan for my boyfriends bday...

I went to bacolod for my regular locsin family reunion. this time however, my mom and dad opted not to go... we went to mambukal again since the weather was stoo bad for a beach outing. we were supposed to go to sipalay but then rescheduled it for another time. eating galore kami. we had one NEW lechon for every day i was there (so thats 6 lechons) bwahaha.. not counting the other food that was served (chocolates, lobsters, seafood galore, blah.. blah... blah...) yummy!

 we went to club mwah with my family when we got to manila... the show was ok. the some of the "girls" really looked like girls! talk about major insecurity issues! hahaha... mas sexy pa sila sa kapatid ko! damn. =P

 we went to laoag/pagudpud for new year and stayed at hannahs resort. thank you rozy! loved the place. love the beach.

when we got back to manila, we met up with tito's college friend jovy, went shopping several times. i have new clothes and shoes! hehehehe...

now im back in my condo in manila... classes nanaman. in denial pa ako. im starving myself kasi hindi ako kasya sa uniform ko thanks to this yummy vacation.

back to the books. hello 2012! hello harrisons! hello fitness first!

i hope 09 will be a better year.
